Exam of Logging Officer and Forest Ranger Officer conducted by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission ( UKPCS). 

Aspirants of Logging Officer & FRO will be selected through   Three Stages : 

⦿ Prelims Exam.

⦿ Mains Exam.

⦿ Interview.

 

 

Educational Qualification : 

It is mandatory for a aspirants to be Graduate from any recognized university in one of the following Subjects along with ‘science graduate/engineering graduate degree’ or a similar degree from any other recognized institute-

3.Chemical Science
4.Computer Application/Computer Science
5.Engineering(Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)
6.Environment Science
7.Forestry
8.Earth Science

Age Limit

21 Years to 42 Years

Physical Eligibility of candidate:-

Height
Male:-     163 cm (152 cm for ST)
Female:- 150 cm (145 cm for ST)

Chest
Male:- 84 to 89 cm
Female:-79 to 84 cm

Walking:-
Male:- 25 km in 04 Hours.
Female:-16 km in 04 Hours.

Prelims Examination Pattern

■ One Paper will be conducted which divided into Two sections which consist 150 Questions.

■ This 150 Questions divided into two sections.

Section-A

■ 100 General Studies Questions.

Section-B

■ 50 Math’s and Reasoning Questions.

1. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE – 100 Marks (Time – 3.00 hrs)

The paper on General knowledge will include questions covering :

1 Current events of National and International importance

2 History of India – Indian Freedom Movement, Constitution of India,

3 General appreciation and understanding of Science including everyday matter of observation and experience as may be expected of a well-educated person.

4 Geography of nature

5 Political system including local self government in Uttarakhand

6 Indian economy.

Note- This paper carries 10 questions. Each question 10 marks. All questions are compulsory.
