Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services Examination
(Upper UKPCS)
This Exam commonly known as Upper UKPCS Exam, through this exam vacancies like SDM, DSP, Finance officer etc has been filled.
The number of vacancies has been change every year or when ever the notification has been released by Uttarakhand Public Services commission.
The Upper UKPCS Exam has three Stages:-

UKPCS Prelims Exam Pattern
⦿ Prelims Exam has Two Papers:-
1. General Studies – 150 Questions.
2. CSAT – 80 Questions.
UKPCS Mains Exam
Mains Examination is Descriptive Type:-
Paper -1 Language 300 Marks
Paper-2 History of India 200 Marks
Paper-3 Indian Polity, Social Justice & International Relation. 200 Marks
Paper-4 Geography of India and World 200 Marks
Paper-5 Economic and Social Development 200 Marks
Paper-6 General Science and Technology. 200 Marks
Paper-7 General Aptitude and Ethics. 200 Marks
Interview
Combined State Civil/Lower Subordinate Services Examination.
(Lower UKPCS Exam)
This Exam known as Lower PCS Exam, through this exam vacancies like Nayab Tehsildar, Deputy Jailor, Supply Inspector etc.
The number of vacancies has been change every year or when ever the notification has been released by Uttarakhand Public Services commission.
The UKPCS has three Stages:-

Lower UKPCS Prelims Pattern
Prelims stage has only one General Studies Paper of 150 Questions ( 150 Marks)
Lower UKPCS Mains Pattern
This Stage has two descriptive papers:-

Paper 2– Essay Writing and Letter Writing. (200 Marks)

2. Hindi Paper (Descriptive Type Type) – 100 Marks
