On 5th March 1931 Gandhi Irwin pact was signed and the main features were:-
๐๐ป Immediate release of all political prisoners not convicted for violence.
๐๐ป The remission of all fines not yet collected.
๐๐ป The return of confiscated lands not yet soul to third party.
๐๐ป Lenient treatment for those Government employees who had resign from there jobs.
๐๐ป The British government ready to give right to make salt for consumption to villages along the coast.
๐๐ป Right to peaceful and non-aggressive picketing.
๐๐ป The Congress on its part agree to discontinue civil disobedience movement.
